Hi there, and welcome to A Dog's Life! My name is Boudreaux and I'm a two year old Boston Terrier, living in the lap of luxury in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. That's me, kickin' back in my sheepskin bed with one of my favorite chew toys within easy reach. Am I adorable or what?
After watching my owner endlessly surf the internet, it's come to my attention that all the doggie websites are written by humans, with no input at all from the dogs! I mean, who knows us better than we do?
So I decided that it would be beneficial to all parties concerned if I could help pet-parents see things from our point of view. I've included tips to help you train your dog quicker, easier and with less frustration for both of you. You'll find help with basic dog training as well as more specialized training tips for crate training and clicker training.
Some of my friends know some really neat tricks, and have agreed to share the secrets of how to get your dog to do them for you. (It really takes so little to amuse a human)
There are many dog training books, (written by humans, of course, but whatcha gonna do?) and I'll help you sort out the best ones for you and your precious pup to make clicker training or crate training, even potty training, super simple for both of you.
I've even included a forum directory that lists websites for you humans to share stories, ideas, problems and solutions with each other.

All dogs, unlike people, are not created equal. Different breeds have different needs. (I just made that up, right now, cool, huh?) So there's a special section of helpful hints specific to your favorite breed. I hate to admit it, but the truth is, not all breeds are as smart as us Bostons. (Oh, alright, there may be one or two that are smarter.)
